Job summary

Clancy Catholic College West Hoxton in Sydney's NSW invites a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our Catholic education community. The successful applicant will deliver engaging, student-centred Maths lessons, collaborate with a dynamic faculty, and contribute to a holistic curriculum aligned with our values of Faith, Compassion, Hope and Service.

Required is a tertiary Education degree and NESA accreditation, plus WWCC clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Education with NSW teacher accreditation.
• Proven ability to teach Mathematics and manage diverse classrooms.
• Willingness to obtain Religious Education qualifications per policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, student-centred Mathematics lessons.
• Collaborate with leadership, Mathematics faculty and other staff to maximise student outcomes.

The successful applicant will join an energetic Mathematics Team focused on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging. They will work collaboratively with the Leadership Team, the Mathematics faculty and the team of middle leaders at the College.

About You

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in Mathematics, with additional teaching areas advantageous
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
