Good Counsel College in Innisfail, Queensland, invites applications for Learning Leader – Mathematics. This full-time, permanent teaching appointment includes a three-year fixed-term Middle Leader period, with renewal following review.

The role requires leadership of the Mathematics program across year levels and collaboration with staff to drive high-quality pedagogy. You will lead curriculum development, supervise teaching practice, analyse data to inform decisions and build partnerships

Qualifications

• Be registered or eligible for registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
• Fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mathematics learning and teaching program in line with national, state and local requirements.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to develop curriculum and ensure effective pedagogy across levels.
• Utilise data analysis to inform decisions and monitor student learning outcomes.
• Develop partnerships within and outside the school and manage available resources.
• Work with Wellbeing Leaders to support student engagement across college life.
