Job summary

Sunshine College is a two-site, multi-campus government secondary college in Melbourne's northern/western suburbs, serving about 1000 students with around 140 staff. The college is in a renewal phase, expanding facilities and teaching practices in partnership with Harvester Technical College.

We seek Leading Teachers to drive high-impact mathematics and curriculum leadership across campuses, delivering improved student learning growth and strong community engagement.

• SC1: Demonstrated expert knowledge of curriculum and ability to lead school priorities.
• SC2: Ability to lead high-impact teaching strategies and monitor their impact.
• SC3: Use data to monitor learning and guide improvement.
• SC4: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills for collaboration.
• SC5: Model department values and support staff development.
• SC6: Lead Mathematics across multi-campus with continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Teaching Practice: implement Mathematics curriculum with consistent assessment.
• Student Achievement and Learning Growth: analyse data to identify learning needs and growth.
• Instructional Leadership and Teacher Capacity: plan, moderate, and provide professional learning.
• School Improvement and Program Evaluation: evaluate initiatives and share improvements.
