Job summary

The University of Melbourne – Western Health Maternity program is seeking an Assistant Clinical Trials Manager to coordinate large international maternal-fetal medicine trials and long-term childhood follow-up studies. You will work with the Clinical Trials Manager to oversee multi-site operations, data quality and trial processes to improve outcomes for families in Australia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in science, allied health, nursing, medicine or public health.
• Substantial experience in clinical trials, including multi-site hospital research governance.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP and NHMRC policies and international research governance.
• Proficient with REDCap and MS Office for data management.
• Ability to write ethics applications, reports and correspondence; communicate trial information to stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation and ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate large, international maternal fetal medicine trials and long-term follow-up studies.
• Oversee multi-site operations, data quality and trial processes.
• Support ethics submissions, site assessments and contracts to enable timely trial start-up across all sites.
• Liaise with over twenty recruiting sites, investigators and trial teams.
• Contribute to stakeholder communications and oversight through meetings and reports.
