Job summary

The Docklands-based Materials Planner at Bega Group will ensure materials for our manufacturing sites are available when needed, coordinating with sites, suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will manage inventory, replenish ingredients and packaging materials, and support production plans to meet customer service commitments.

You will use ERP/SAP-based systems, balance multiple priorities, and contribute to IBP processes while building strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience in materials, supply or inventory planning, ideally FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Experience using ERP, planning and replenishment systems with SAP experience highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.

  • Proactively manage materials related to product changes or deletions in order to minimise write off
  • Ensure timely replenishment of ingredients and packaging materials to support manufacturing schedules
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with manufacturing sites and suppliers as the key contact for material-related issues
  • Identify value creation opportunities and contribute to IBP processes, supplier collaboration and new product launches

The Role

As a Docklands-based Materials Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials for our manufacturing sites are available in the right place at the right time. Working closely with manufacturing sites, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will manage inventory, replenish ingredients and packaging materials, and support the successful delivery of production plans while helping deliver on customer service commitments.
