Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Materials & Logistics Officer to join a major decarbonisation project in the Perth CBD. You will coordinate procurement, track materials, and oversee logistics to sites, working closely with project managers, engineering, contracts, and supply chain teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in materials, logistics, procurement, or purchasing, with SAP and MS Office proficiency, strong planning, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Materials, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Purchasing.
• Experience coordinating material deliveries and logistics for project-based environments.
• Proficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) within SAP.
• Coordinate the end-to-end procurement process to support project delivery requirements.
• Track and monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Support sourcing activities including RFQs and EOIs.
• Conduct market research and identify suitable suppliers and service providers.
• Coordinate international and domestic logistics activities, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, collection, and site delivery.
• Monitor supply chain performance and proactively resolve delivery issues.
• Collaborate with project teams to confirm specifications, quantities, and required delivery dates.
• Establish and monitor procurement performance metrics and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics processes.
• Assist with vendor management and supplier performance monitoring.
