Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Material Planner in Ballarat to ensure timely availability of materials for production and projects. You will collaborate with suppliers, procurement, logistics and project teams to plan, monitor performance and mitigate supply risks.

Responsibilities include coordinating material requirements, maintaining ERP data, tracking deliveries, resolving shortages and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management and supplier coordination.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify risks and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work across teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate material requirements to ensure production and project demands are met.
  • Manage material planning activities and maintain accurate ERP data, schedules and inventory parameters.
  • Monitor supplier deliveries, track shortages and resolve supply and goods receipt issues.
  • Identify supply risks, manage exceptions and implement recovery actions to minimise project impacts.
  • Monitor supplier performance and contribute to supplier assessments.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing and Project teams to achieve supply chain and delivery objectives.

Are you an experienced supply chain professional looking toplay a key role in ensuring production success? Our client is seeking aproactive and detail-oriented Material Planner to ensure the timelyavailability of materials required to support production and project delivery.

Our client is a leader in designing, manufacturing, andmaintaining over 200 railcars, offering a comprehensive portfolio that includeshigh-speed trains and digital mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

Working closely with suppliers, procurement, logistics, andproject teams, you will manage material planning activities, monitor supplierperformance, mitigate supply risks, and drive continuous improvement across thesupply chain.

Your day-to-dayresponsibilities will include:

  • Plan and coordinate materialrequirements to ensure production and project demands are met.
  • Manage material planningactivities and maintain accurate ERP data, schedules, and inventory parameters.
