Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Sydney is seeking a Sr. PP&C Master Scheduler to lead project scheduling and performance measurement. You will partner with an integrated project team to develop plans, baselines, and reports, driving on-time and on-budget outcomes across multiple sites.

The role requires 4+ years as a Program Scheduler, SME in MS Project/P6/PMIS, and strong EVM expertise. You will interact with external customers and apply rigorous scheduling controls in a global, safety‑critical

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, math, or related field.
• 4+ years' experience as a Program Scheduler.
• SME in MS Project, P6 or PMIS scheduling.
• Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management.
• Experience interfacing with external customers.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the project/program schedule in the scheduling tool using WBS strategy.
• Create and maintain project resource requirements in the scheduling tool.
• Perform Monthly Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessments.
• Prepare external customer submittals that meet contract data requirements.
• Measure and monitor monthly progress, earned value (EVM) and performance (CPI, SPI).
• Support and analyse project risk management/change management.
• Analyse cost and schedule variance vs baseline and identify root causes.
• Maintain schedule and track milestones.
• Prepare and publish metrics and financial reports.
• Analyse project performance through cost and schedule integration.
• Support forecasting, reviews, and monthly progress reporting to internal/external customers.
• Apply EVM techniques to project/program and S curves.
• Ensure effective communication with project team and build relationships.
• Monitor and report compliance with GPMO and Sarbanes Oxley controls.

Join a team of specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with Integrated project team to develop project plans and create cost and schedule baselines. You will prepare and publish metrics and reports. You will analyse variances and review compliance to corporate guidelines across multiple teams. Your findings will drive decisions to improve the project/program performance impacting one or more site locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the project/program schedule in the scheduling tool (MS Project, P6, PMIS) using WBS strategy
• Create and maintain project resource requirements in the scheduling tool
• Perform Monthly Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessments
• Accurate and timely external customer submittals that meet contract data requirements
• Measure and monitor monthly the program's progress, earned value (EVM) and performance (CPI, SPI)
• Support and Analyse project risk management/change management
• Analyse cost and schedule variance versus baseline and identify root cause and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain schedule and track milestones
• Prepare and publish metrics and financial reports
• Analyse project performance through cost and schedule integration
• Support Project Forecasting, Project Reviews, Monthly Progress Reporting to Internal/External Customers
• Apply EVM (Earned Value Management) techniques to Project/Program, S Curves
• Ensure effective communication and partner with the Project Team (internal/external) to build relationships
• Monitor and Report Compliance as per GPMO requirements
• Ensure compliance with relevant SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) controls

Key Experience & Capabilities

• 4+ years’ experience as a Program Scheduler
• Bachelor’s degree in business or economics, Finance, Math, or related field
• SME (Subject Matter Expert) in MS Project, P6 or PMIS scheduling
• Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management
• Experience with external customer interfacing

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
• User experience of ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsiga)
• Proficient Microsoft Office package skills e.g., Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
• Experience in financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management
• Project Management certification or Project Schedule Professional (PMI-SP)
• Bi/multi-lingual
