Job summary

Sharp & Carter is partnering with the Queensland Government to recruit an experienced Master Scheduler to support a large-scale ICT transformation program in Queensland. The role delivers integrated schedules, governance, and milestone forecasting within a high-performing program team.

You'll lead scheduling across multiple projects, identify risks, and collaborate with project managers, business analysts, vendors and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience using Microsoft Project Professional.
• Experience working within structured governance environments.
• Knowledge of Prince2, PMBOK, Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Ability to influence outcomes across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project and program schedules.
• Establish and manage schedule management frameworks and standards.
• Identify critical paths, milestones, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, vendors and technical teams.
• Monitor schedule performance and provide reporting to program leadership.
• Maintain program dependency registers and support governance activities.
• Escalate schedule risks and issues proactively.

Master Scheduler | Major Queensland Government ICT Program Help Deliver a Nation-Leading Digital Transformation

Sharp & Carter is partnering with the Queensland Government to recruit an experienced Master Scheduler to support the delivery of a large-scale ICT transformation program that will underpin the establishment of the new Queensland Protection Commission. This is a significant program of work with funding secured through to 2028 and a clear roadmap of technology delivery milestones.

Working within a high-performing program team, you will provide scheduling expertise across multiple projects, ensuring effective planning, governance, dependency management, reporting and delivery oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project and program schedules
• Establish and manage schedule management frameworks and standards

• Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, vendors and technical teams

About You

You will be an experienced Project Scheduler, Program Scheduler or Project Controls professional with a strong background supporting large and complex technology programs.

You will bring:

• Extensive experience using Microsoft Project Professional
• Demonstrated success managing schedules across multiple concurrent projects
• Experience working within structured governance environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience supporting large ICT, digital, transformation or enterprise programs
• Knowledge of Prince2, PMBOK, Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies
• Ability to work independently and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups
