Job summary

Queensland Health's Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Master Data Officer to advise, assist and manage processes ensuring compliance with State Procurement Policy and related guidelines.

You will review material master data requests, contribute to cataloguing standards, and build strong relationships with executive and staff while liaising with SAP users to identify system and data management enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Review and process requests from users for new or amended materials master data to ensure that all relevant information is captured in accordance with departmental / Hospital and Health Service requirements and cataloguing policy.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organisational catalogue to maximise the efficiency of purchasing and logistics business processes, including the implementation of classification systems and national cataloguing standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships, particularly with executive, senior officers, other support staff and stakeholders and the Nurse Manager Clinical Resources Unit.
  • Consult and liaise with Queensland Health Corporate Catalogue staff in relation to the maintenance of data management standards, corporate cataloguing policy and data analysis and liaise with SAP users to identify system and data management enhancements.
