Job summary

Sandvik Rock Processing Australia is seeking a Master Data Specialist to provide Australian master data expertise across operations, procurement and supply chain transformation, including ERP transition activity. The role also supports global master data ticket resolution and cross-regional projects to ensure data is accurate, governed and ready for business change.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in Master Data Management within manufacturing, mining or heavy industry, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience supporting transformation, automation, ERP or major system change initiatives, including cleansing, mapping, validation, testing and post-implementation support.
Strong SAP ERP or similar ERP experience, SAP MDG, equipment hierarchy, BOM, technical documentation and ticket workflow knowledge; Teamcenter PLM and Infor M3 experience desirable.
Advanced Excel and reporting or analytics capability, with the ability to work across local and global stakeholders.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong data quality, process improvement, stakeholder engagement and practical delivery skills.
Willingness and ability to travel within Australia and occasionally internationally as required.

Responsibilities

Lead and support master data initiatives that enable business transformation, ERP projects, and operational improvements across Australia.
Partner with stakeholders across operations, procurement, supply chain, and business functions to deliver data-driven process improvements and system enhancements.
Drive data quality, governance, and compliance by ensuring accurate, reliable, and well-managed master data across business systems.
Support business change through stakeholder engagement, training, coaching, and adoption of data management best practices.
Contribute to local and global projects by providing expertise in data management, continuous improvement, reporting, testing, and process optimisation.
