Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking a Master Data & Automation Specialist (Scheduling) to transform how planning, scheduling and master data come together. You will design and embed intelligent automation and digital solutions to reduce manual effort and improve data quality for better decision making.

You will partner with technical and non-technical teams, delivering automated tools, digital forms, workflow and analytics to drive lasting improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing automation, data, AI or analytics solutions.
• Strong data literacy and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Power Platform, Python, Power BI, Tableau or SAP Analytics.
• Experience in Coal Seam Gas, Oil & Gas or Integrated Gas is valued but not essential.

As our Master Data & Automation Specialist, you’ll help transform how planning, scheduling and master data come together, designing and embedding intelligent automation and digital solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality and give our teams better visibility to make decisions and get work done.

What will you bring?

• Experience developing automation, data, AI or analytics solutions, ideally within an operational or industrial environment.
• Strong data literacy and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for finding a better way.
• The ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders, understand their needs and turn challenges into practical solutions.
• Experience with tools such as Power Platform, Python, Power BI, Tableau or SAP Analytics. SAP PM/master data, digital forms, workflow or mobile field solutions experience will also be highly regarded.
• Experience in Coal Seam Gas, Oil & Gas or Integrated Gas, and/or tertiary qualifications in data, engineering, computer science or a related discipline will be highly regarded but aren’t essential.
