Job summary

Lifecare Physiotherapy is seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team on a contracting basis. You will provide holistic care to enhance mobility and independence, working with clients who have a wide range of physical conditions within a collaborative team including Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

You will assess and treat, educate clients on therapy, and help them with goal setting, stretching, strengthening and posture improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy.
• Must have Medibank Private and other private health registration.
• ABN or ACN and relevant insurance documents.

Responsibilities

• Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals.
• Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s.
• Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy.
• Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture.
• Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required.
• Liaising with various healthcare professionals such to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored.
• Documenting and reporting on your client’s condition and progress.

Our team at LifeCare is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Massage Therapist to join our team on a contracting basis.

You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

In this role you will be...
