Job summary

Lifecare Physiotherapy is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team in Australia on a part-time or full-time basis. New graduates are welcome, with mentorship and professional development opportunities available.

You will assess and treat diverse musculoskeletal and sports injuries, deliver manual therapy and exercise programs, and run group classes. Collaboration with Allied Health professionals supports holistic patient care and strong outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA is required.
• Experience or interest in musculoskeletal and/or sports physiotherapy.
• Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with manual therapy and exercises.
• Run group exercise classes.
• Collaborate with other Allied Health Professionals for holistic care.
• Prepare reports and treatment management plans for referrers.

Job description

Our team at Lifecare is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Physiotherapist to join us on a part-time or full time basis. This role is open to new/upcoming graduates or experienced clinicians.

Lifecare Cherrybrook Physiotherapy provides a varied caseload across life stages, from postnatal care to sports injuries and general musculoskeletal conditions. You’ll be part of a team focused on personalised care and meaningful client outcomes.

You will be providing high-quality treatment to our patients to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes and work across a variety of case presentations and clients in our private practice. We value holistic, patient centred care whilst supporting our practitioners with professional development opportunities and a very well-structured mentorship program.

In this role you will be...

• Assessing and diagnosing a variety of different musculoskeletal and/or sporting injuries
• Drawing on your clinical knowledge to create and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Providing the appropriate manual therapy, exercise prescription, education and other modalities as per the treatment plan
• Running group exercise classes
• Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals to help provide holistic care to patients
• Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports or treatment management plans to update referrers
