Job summary

Programmed Skilled Workforce in Brisbane's Wacol area is seeking a reliable machine operator for a long-term role within a bricks, tiles and cement production environment. You will work 4am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, indoors and outdoors, and learn machine operation while contributing to labour tasks.

This role suits candidates with previous heavy factory or warehouse experience, a safety-first mindset, and a willingness to be trained on site. A HRW forklift licence is a bonus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous heavy factory or warehouse experience.
• Willing to work outdoors in the yard (sheltered, not weather dependent).
• Open to learning machine operation if not already skilled.
• A current HRW forklift licence bonus, not essential.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to confidently pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Reliable, hardworking individuals with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Machine operation (dehacker, slurry etc).
• Labouring with cement goods including dry mix bags, tiles and bricks.
• Opportunity to be trained on machine operation.
• Housekeeping and general stores tasks.
