We are seeking a motivated Marketing Specialist with strong marketing skills and sufficient technical knowledge of solar energy systems to develop and implement marketing strategies that support business growth and identify new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies, objectives and programs to support business growth.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities and opportunities for new and existing products and services.
• Analyse market trends, customer behaviour and business data to develop effective marketing plans.
• Advise management on product positioning, pricing, advertising, sales promotion and distribution channels.
• Apply technical knowledge of solar energy systems, solar panels, inverters, battery storage and related technologies to develop accurate and effective marketing strategies.
• Translate technical solar product information into clear marketing messages tailored to residential and commercial customers.
• Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns to promote the company's solar products and services.
• Develop digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media marketing, online advertising and website content.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with external marketing agencies, suppliers and relevant stakeholders to coordinate promotional activities.
• Prepare marketing reports, budgets and performance evaluations.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, generate leads and strengthen the company's market position.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate should have:

• A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience.

• Sufficient technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, battery storage and related technologies, to effectively market solar products and services.
• The ability to understand technical product specifications and communicate solar energy solutions to customers.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, social media platforms and marketing analytics.
• Strong analytical, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the solar energy or renewable energy industry will be an advantage.

Employment Conditions

• Full-time employment, 38 hours per week.
• Annual salary of AUD $80,000–$85,000 plus superannuation.
• Work location: Sydney, NSW.
• Reporting to the General Manager.
