Founded in Sydney in 2014, ezyCollect by Sidetrade is Australia’s leading Order‑to‑Cash platform for small and mid‑sized businesses. We automate credit management, collections, and payments, taking the manual work out of getting paid. Our 1,500+ customers manage A$19 billion in receivables through the platform, typically cutting late payments by 40% and bad debt by 80% within three months.

Now part of global AI leader Sidetrade, we’re scaling our reach across three continents, bringing enterprise‑grade technology to the mid‑market while staying true to our Sydney roots. Australian innovation. Global ambition.

Why this role exists

Marketing here runs lean, and the range of work is broad: campaigns, content, digital, design, and product marketing all sit under one roof. Not everything can happen at once, and the highest‑leverage work is turning what we build into messaging our customers, prospects, and Sales team can actually use.

Product marketing is the area we most need strength in right now. As we ship faster, we need someone who can take a feature from release to market end to end, writing the messaging and building the enablement material themselves, not relying on outside help to explain what shipped.

This is a high‑ownership, high‑autonomy role. You’ll shape how marketing operates day to day, and there’s real room to grow as the function scales.

Your team

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing, who owns strategy; you own the operating rhythm that turns it into delivered work. You’ll work closely cross‑functionally; with Sales, Product, and Customer Success, and act as the local anchor for a business also operating across the globe (North America, UK, Europe, Brazil and the Philippines), where parts of the working day run on different clocks.

The team is small, practical, and hands‑on. We value clear writing, credible judgement, and getting things shipped without unnecessary process.

Key responsibilities

Product marketing and launch

  • Translate product releases into clear messaging for customers, prospects, and Sales.
  • Write and maintain product pages, feature copy, release communication, and sales enablement material.
  • Build and maintain the sales enablement library: one‑pagers, battlecards, decks, objection handling.
  • Coordinate launch timing and materials with Product, Sales, and Customer Success so launches land together.

Planning and coordination

  • Own the marketing calendar across channels, campaigns, contributors, and launches.
  • Run intake and triage for requests from Sales, Product, Customer Success, and the Executive Team.
  • Write and coordinate briefs for contributors, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Review content and creative before it ships for accuracy and consistency.

Content and creative

  • Produce content directly: blogs, social, product updates, customer communication, campaign assets.
  • Design marketing assets to a professional standard: landing pages, ad and social creative, one‑pagers, email templates, presentations.
  • Work within the existing design system and extend it thoughtfully when a new format requires it.

Campaigns and growth

  • Plan and execute campaigns that drive demand, adoption, retention, and brand visibility.
  • Coordinate content, creative, website, email, paid, and organic so campaigns launch complete.
  • Scope tracking and attribution into every campaign from the start.
  • Support webinars, events, and customer lifecycle programs.

Digital and performance

  • Manage website structure, content updates, and landing pages with the relevant specialists.
  • Deliver organic growth initiatives across search and other discovery surfaces.
  • Report on performance to a fixed cadence with clear takeaways and next actions.

About you

  • 4+ years in marketing, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS. Ideally experience with Fintech/Payments.
  • Real product marketing experience: you've taken a feature or product to market and written the messaging yourself.
  • A track record delivering across content, digital, campaigns, and product marketing, not just one lane.
  • Experience managing a marketing calendar and multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Experience reviewing and coordinating work from people who don't report to you.
  • Design skills you can show through real work: comfortable in Figma or equivalent, producing on‑brand creative.
  • A practical AI workflow: you can show where it speeds you up and where you keep judgement human.
  • Experience with CRM and automation platforms, ideally HubSpot.
  • Confident writing first‑draft copy, clear briefs, and stakeholder updates without relying on an agency.
  • Strong grasp of organic growth and analytics, including GA4 and Search Console.
  • Experience working directly with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

What we offer

High autonomy and trust: you own the operating rhythm of marketing, and you're trusted to make the calls without being micromanaged.

Meaningful, visible work: own product launches end to end and shape how marketing works as the team scales.

Collaborative culture: work with a practical, hands‑on team that values clear writing, good judgement, and getting things shipped.

Cross‑functional exposure: work directly with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and the Executive Team, not at a remove from the business.

Room to grow: as the business scales, there's real potential for this role to grow with it.

The extras: On‑site barista coffee, ezyCollect SWAG, active lunch breaks, quarterly in‑person team celebrations, monthly virtual games, weekly office events and regular lunch and learns.

Workshop Software is a cloud based platform that helps automotive workshops run their businesses: bookings, invoicing, inventory, customer communication, reporting and much more, in one place. We sell to independent mechanical workshops in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and South Africa. Our customers are hands‑on business owners, and we shape every piece of communication to speak directly to them.

This role is responsible for the overall marketing function and our presence in the market. The successful candidate will combine strategic oversight with direct execution, translating product capability into clear, commercially effective communication. This role holds end‑to‑end ownership of content creation, strategy, demand generation, and lifecycle communications. Responsibilities include the planning and execution of content across blog, video, and social channels; management of campaigns driving monthly trial and signup volume, including paid media performance against defined cost‑per‑trial targets; administration of our marketing systems (HubSpot and Userflow) governing CRM, lifecycle automation, and in‑app engagement; direction and quality oversight of a retained bench of external specialists; and stewardship of brand messaging and positioning across every market and channel in which we operate.

You are the only marketer inside the business, however, you are not on your own. You direct a retained bench of external specialists: a videographer, a paid media and Google Ads consultant, graphic designers, web implementers and business consultants who advise on marketing. Budget for that bench already exists.

You publish without waiting for sign‑off. Blog posts, social, email campaigns, videos and website copy are yours to ship inside our brand guidelines. That is deliberate: a marketer who queues everything behind a CEO approval produces nothing.

Key responsibilities

Content and channels

  • Plan, write and publish blog and SEO content on our WordPress site
  • Own our YouTube channel: choose topics, write scripts, direct the shoot, then publish, title, thumbnail and distribute
  • Run the social calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, with copy and creative that suits each
  • Write customer facing copy across email, landing pages, in‑app messages and release notes
  • Repurpose deliberately: one shoot day or one strong article should feed several weeks of channel activity

Campaigns and demand generation

  • Own monthly trial and signup volume, and the campaigns that drive it
  • Build and send email campaigns, landing pages and product launches end to end
  • Responsible for paid activity across Google Ads and social, working with our paid media consultant, and hold that spend to a cost per trial
  • Own messaging across website, social and paid channels
  • Identify performance gaps, then fix them and report what changed

Directing the retained bench

  • Brief external specialists properly: clear scope, clear deadline, clear definition of done
  • Keep every retainer productively utilised, and report monthly on what each one delivered
  • Hold partners to quality and to deadlines, and elevate early when they slip
  • Recommend changes to the mix of retained support where the money would work harder elsewhere

CRM and marketing systems

  • Own HubSpot: workflows, nurture sequences, segmentation and lifecycle stages
  • Maintain database hygiene and keep reporting trustworthy
  • Improve automation so that repeatable work stops consuming your week
  • Provide clear, honest campaign performance reporting to the CEO

Lifecycle and in‑app engagement

  • Manage and optimise in‑app communication in Userflow
  • Build and refine onboarding sequences to improve activation and early engagement
  • Work with Product and Support so that messaging inside the platform is clear, helpful and commercially aligned

Messaging and positioning

  • Translate product capability into plain customer outcomes, in the language a workshop owner actually uses
  • Keep us consistent with brand guidelines across every channel and every market
  • Refine messaging based on customer behaviour, sales feedback and campaign results
  • Keep our positioning strong across all five markets we sell into

Referral and advocacy

  • Run and optimise customer referral initiatives across email, in‑app and social
  • Monitor participation, conversion and program performance
  • Improve incentive structure, messaging and promotion, and test changes with leadership

Events and industry presence

  • Plan and execute industry events or trade shows, scheduled around the content calendar rather than in place of it
  • Coordinate pre‑event and post‑event campaigns, and track return and follow‑up

Essential Experience and skills

  • 4 to 6 years in SaaS, technology or B2B marketing, with most of it hands on
  • Strong writer. Copywriting is the single most used skill in this job: blogs, emails, ads, landing pages, in‑app copy
  • Comfortable in front of and behind a camera: able to script video, direct a shoot and turn footage into published, titled, thumbnailed content
  • Able to publish to a WordPress site without waiting for a developer
  • Experienced with a CRM and marketing automation platform, ideally HubSpot
  • Proven track record directing external suppliers, agencies or contractors and getting real output from them
  • Commercially aware: you understand marketing’s job is revenue, and you are comfortable being measured on a number
  • Comfortable working directly with a founder and CEO, and confident enough to challenge constructively
  • Highly organised, detail driven, and able to hold many moving parts without dropping the weekly cadence
  • Able to talk to a workshop owner and write in their language, not in marketing language
  • Right to work in Australia

How to apply

Send your CV, a short note on why this role suits you, and links to work you personally produced: articles you wrote, videos you made, campaigns you ran. We are more interested in what you have shipped than in what you have planned.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, results‑oriented marketing manager to join our team in Australia, owning brand building and client acquisition. This role is best suited to someone who can translate brand strategy into real market leads; solid B2C branding and client acquisition experience is especially encouraged.

This role manages marketing initiatives across Australia and partners closely with various organisations to reach FranklinWH’s target audiences, with about 25% travel required. As part of a global organisation, the role also involves a fair share of corporate and cross‑functional coordination—working with global teams, internal processes, and reporting structures alongside hands‑on execution.

Success in this role calls for organised reliability, collaboration, and creativity, along with assertive, confident relationship‑building, sales, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Acquisition Strategy: Participate in developing the annual AUS brand & marketing plan, and translate it into concrete, actionable brand‑building and client acquisition strategies — measured against brand recognition, customer engagement, and sales growth.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage multi‑channel marketing campaigns, with ongoing tracking and optimization of the leads generated in terms of both volume and quality.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, and turn those insights into practical marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Brand Management: Oversee brand consistency across all marketing and communications channels. Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure brand messaging aligns with the company’s overall vision while also delivering results in the local market.
  • Partnerships & Events: Identify and build partnerships with industry stakeholders, trade associations, and influencers. Plan and execute participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility and generate real acquisition opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for the Australian market, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Cross‑Functional & Corporate Coordination: Regularly liaise with global marketing, sales, finance, and other internal stakeholders on planning, approvals, and process alignment—this role involves a meaningful share of corporate administrative work alongside creative and strategic marketing execution.
  • Market Agility & Global Collaboration: Stay responsive to shifting market needs and adjust plans accordingly, while working closely with global colleagues and demonstrating a strong understanding of how to operate effectively within a corporate structure.
  • Enterprise Sales Support for Technical Products: Our product has a long sales cycle involving multiple decision‑makers. Success requires experience selling high‑value, technical solutions, particularly in home energy management, energy storage, solar, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to Pivot Between Strategy, Operations, and Execution: This role requires managing relationships at all levels — upward, outward, and downward — while navigating a range of business tools with both creativity and practicality. You’ll be responsible not only for building the plan but also for securing resources and executing it effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with solid B2C branding and client acquisition experience strongly preferred; a background in renewable energy, technology, or B2B sectors is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns, with demonstrable impact on lead volume and quality.
  • Comfortable working within a corporate structure—coordinating across teams, following internal processes, and managing reporting/approval workflows as part of a global organisation.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian market, including customer behaviour, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, with some nights and weekends required.
