Job summary

Defence SA is seeking a proactive Manager Marketing and Events to lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of strategic initiatives across defence, space and veterans sectors. You will drive major trade show participation, sponsorships and targeted events, strengthening stakeholder engagement and organisational profile.

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs and Government Relations function, you will manage development and delivery of impactful campaigns, provide brand guidance, and lead a team

Qualifications

Proven experience in senior marketing or events roles.
Extensive knowledge of advertising, marketing and brand management principles.
Experience planning, delivering and evaluating events including trade shows.
Experience leading strategic sponsorship programs and partnerships.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale events, marketing and sponsorship initiatives across portfolios.
Drive campaigns and initiatives to elevate state reputation in defence, space and veterans sectors.
Provide brand management guidance and expert advice to support objectives.
Lead a marketing and events team and foster collaboration across portfolios.
