Qualifications

• Agricultural Science or Science degree is required; Agsafe accreditation is an advantage.
• Extensive Crop Protection industry experience in Technical, Product Development, or Commercial roles.
• Strong knowledge of crop protection products and pesticide application.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively.
• Established industry networks in horticulture and related fields.
• Innovative thinker who translates insights into opportunities.

ADAMA Australia is looking for an experienced and technically strong Market Development Manager, to create market demand for new and existing horticultural products and help shape the future of our portfolio across Southern Region.

Working closely with the Portfolio & Innovation and Commercial teams, you'll translate market insights and technical expertise into compelling product positioning, field trials, demonstrations, training, and customer engagement. You'll play a key role in building ADAMA's presence with growers, agronomists, spray contractors, distributors, and industry bodies across the region.

What You'll Do

• Create market demand: Lead solution sites, field trials, demonstrations, customer events, training programs, and technical initiatives to build awareness and adoption of ADAMA's horticultural products.
• Shape portfolio opportunities: Partner with Portfolio & Innovation to develop product positioning, value propositions, market insights, and identify emerging market and product opportunities.
• Build industry influence: Develop strong relationships with growers, agronomists, spray contractors, distributor technical teams, industry bodies, and other key influencers.
• Bring technical expertise to market: Provide technical support to the Commercial team, communicate technical data effectively, and act as a technical lead for key customer groups and selected horticultural markets.

What We're Looking For

• Agricultural Science or Science degree, with Agsafe accreditation considered an advantage.
• Extensive Crop Protection industry experience across Technical, Product Development, or Commercial roles, with horticulture experience highly desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of crop protection products, pesticide application, and the ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, analytical, problem-solving, commercial, and influencing skills.
• Established industry networks and experience in technology development, market development, or product positioning.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to identify market gaps and translate insights into practical opportunities.
