Job summary

Kirinari is seeking an experienced Marketing & Development Manager for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in NSW. You will lead marketing, communications and development to strengthen our brand, support growth and create meaningful community impact.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will manage campaigns, digital presence and partnerships across service streams, while mentoring the marketing team and aligning activities with our inclusive values.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience delivering strategic marketing and development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, content development and brand management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contemporary marketing, communications and development strategies.
• Drive brand awareness and strengthen market position.
• Lead integrated campaigns across digital, social, print and traditional media to support acquisition.
• Manage Kirinari's digital presence and external communications.
• Identify growth opportunities and build relationships with partners and donors.

We're looking for an experienced Marketing & Development Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic marketing, communications and development initiatives that strengthen our brand, support organisational growth and create meaningful impact across the communities we serve.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for developing and delivering contemporary marketing, communications and development strategies that enhance Kirinari's reputation, promote our services and support organisational growth.

You will work across multiple service streams and social enterprises, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence while building meaningful relationships with stakeholders, community partners, supporters and donors.

As a member of Kirinari's Strategy department, you will contribute to strategic planning and help shape the future direction of marketing and development across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative marketing and communications strategies across priority service areas and social enterprises.
• Drive brand awareness and strengthen Kirinari's market position.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print and traditional media channels to support customer acquisition.
• Manage and enhance Kirinari's digital presence, including website, social media and online engagement.
• Identify opportunities for organisational growth and business development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, supporters, sponsors and donors.
• Coordinate events and community engagement activities and initiatives.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Manage external marketing suppliers, agencies and creative partners.
• Support media relations, public relations and reputation management activities.
• Ensure all communications align with accessibility, inclusion and brand standards.
• Mentor and support marketing team members and contribute to a high-performing culture.

About You

You are a passionate and strategic marketing professional who thrives in a purpose-driven environment and enjoys balancing big-picture planning with hands-on delivery.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, brand management, fundraising, business development or a related field.
• Proven success delivering strategic marketing and communications initiatives.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content development and brand management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
• Experience analysing campaign performance and translating insights into action.
• A collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience within community services, disability, aged care or not-for-profit sectors will be highly regarded.
