This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end campaign calendar and lifecycle communications, ensuring timely and effective outreach via traditional and emerging communication methods. Working cross-functionally with the Product, Trading, and Partnerships teams, the Marketing & CRM Specialist ensures all campaigns are aligned with business goals, user segmentation strategies, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and data-driven decision-making to optimise the customer journey and maximise lifetime value.

What you'll love about BetMakers:
  • You’ll be part of a collaborative group that thrives on momentum, celebrates wins, and supports each other to get things done.
  • You will be rewarded with an attractive salary package, performance-based incentives and support to see you succeed and achieve your professional goals.
  • We are more than a company; we are committed to promoting an inclusive, engaged and empowered workforce.
  • Flexible working arrangements with a hybrid working model and access to central CBD office locations.
  • Join an excellent team culture, where we encourage growth and learning, ensuring open and transparent communication where having fun is a top priority.
  • We offer a generous parental leave policy for both primary and secondary caregivers, available after six months of employment.
  • Free access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing confidential support and resources for mental health, wellbeing, and everyday life challenges.
  • You’ll have the freedom to lead business projects, from concept to execution, and bring bold ideas to life.
Day-to-day:
  • Plan and execute weekly communications across Email, Push, SMS, and in-app banners using an integrated CRM platform.
  • Own and maintain the marketing campaign calendar, ensuring alignment with product launches, trading activity, and promotional events.
  • Build and manage audience segments within the CRM tool, including importing and managing external lists for targeted campaigns.
  • Manage and optimise marketing spend, maximising performance through efficient channel planning and campaign optimisation.
  • Write creative briefs and manage asset production with the UX team.
  • Design and launch lifecycle journeys to support onboarding, churn prevention, reactivation, and ongoing engagement.
  • Drive projects from concept to launch, working closely with UX/UI teams to deliver seamless and engaging marketing initiatives.
  • Support product communication, coordinating with Product Managers and stakeholders to inform and align on product strategy, updates, and campaign impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with marketing regulations and guidelines set by relevant authorities, including ACMA and other regulatory bodies.
To be successful in the role:

Success in this role comes from a strong blend of technical CRM expertise, campaign execution experience, and cross-functional collaboration. Here’s what will help you thrive:

  • Bring 1-5 years of hands-on experience in CRM, digital marketing, or lifecycle campaign management particularly across both acquisition and retention journeys.
  • Master CRM tools such as XtremePush, Intercom, Braze, or Customer.io, with confidence building and launching integrated multi-channel campaigns.
  • Own the campaign calendar and deliver high-frequency communications with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Work cross-functionally with ease, coordinating with Product, UX, and technical teams to deliver aligned and impactful campaigns.
  • Leverage your experience in promotions, ideally within wagering, gaming, or app-based environments, to craft relevant and compliant offers. Nice to have not a must!
Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to manage stakeholders, brief creative teams, and collaborate with external partners.
  • Be a proactive team player, contributing to a positive culture while being comfortable working independently and taking ownership of key initiatives.
  • Stay curious and adaptable, with an interest in emerging technologies, evolving marketing trends, and shifting customer behaviours.
  • Bring a data-driven mindset, using insights to solve problems and make informed, agile decisions.
Be flexible, with the ability to support campaigns and stakeholders across time zones when needed, including occasional work outside regular business hours.
