Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a marketing and communications leadership role.
  • Extensive experience managing digital marketing platforms, social media and website content.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver innovative marketing strategies to attract and retain student enrolments.
  • Lead integrated marketing and communication plans across digital, print and community platforms.
  • Manage the College's website, social media channels and promotional materials with a consistent brand presence.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed of trends to drive marketing initiatives.
  • Create content for newsletters, publications, social media and other channels.
  • Coordinate community engagement activities and support key events (Open Days, graduations, reunions, fundraising).
  • Build relationships with staff, students, families and external stakeholders to showcase College achievements.
  • Liaise with Catholic Education South Australia's communications team and contribute to system-wide initiatives.
  • Lead and support marketing team members to meet objectives and deliver quality outcomes.

Marketing and Community Engagement Manager

Pro rata working (37.5 hrs x 41 weeks) $88,863.70

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to shape the College's brand, strengthen community connections, drive enrolment growth, and promote the many opportunities and successes within our thriving College community. Working closely with the Business Manager and senior leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of marketing, communications, digital engagement, events promotion and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver innovative marketing strategies that attract and retain student enrolments.
  • Lead the implementation of integrated marketing and communication plans across digital, print and community platforms.
  • Manage and enhance the College's website, social media channels and promotional materials, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed of emerging trends to drive contemporary marketing initiatives.
  • Create compelling content for newsletters, publications, social media and other communication channels.
  • Coordinate community engagement activities and support key College events, including Open Days, graduations, celebrations, reunions, fundraising activities and enrolment events.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, students, families and external stakeholders to showcase College achievements and experiences.
  • Liaise with Catholic Education South Australia's communications team and contribute to broader system-wide communication initiatives.
  • Lead and support members of the marketing team to achieve strategic objectives and high-quality outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in the education sector or a multi-stakeholder environment will be highly regarded.
