Job summary

Oriental Merchant, a leading wholesaler and distributor of authentic Asian groceries, is seeking a Marketing Administrator to join our team in Mulgrave, VIC. You will support the successful implementation of marketing campaigns and coordinate with internal teams, agencies and suppliers.

The role requires Australian working rights, experience with Microsoft Office, and a marketing degree. Strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a retail/FMCG

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights and must live in Australia.
• Experience in using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A degree related to Marketing will be considered advantageous.
• Relevant experience in a current marketing role is an added advantage.
• Having a valid driver’s licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans for assigned brands.
• Research market trends and competitor products; maintain databases.
• Plan and organise promotional activities, calendars, and budgets.
• Prepare POS materials for mainstream and ethnic marketing activities.
• Conduct store visits to monitor product performance and market trends.
• Coordinate information and collaterals flow with internal and external stakeholders on marketing executions.
