Bank of China in Sydney seeks a Market Risk professional to implement market risk policy and framework in line with external regulations and Head Office requirements. You will analyse risk portfolios, monitor market risk profile and limit usage, and produce timely analytical reports to head office and management.

The role requires at least 2 years in financial services, exposure to bonds, rates and FX, and proficiency in Excel; strong English and Chinese language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably banking or risk management.
• Exposure to financial market products, especially bonds, interest rates and FX.
• CPA/CFA/FRM qualification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implement market risk policy and framework per external regulations and Head Office requirements.
• Analyze risk portfolio and suggest improvements to support Bank's strategy.
• Independently monitor and analyse the Bank's market risk profile and limit utilization; provide opinions to business units.
• Develop and maintain reporting model to automate report generation.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and analytical reporting to Head Office and internal management reports.
• Conduct market risk stress testing and analysis as required.
• Assist in ad-hoc requests from Head Office and regulators.
