Google Australia and New Zealand seeks a Market Consultant to lead HR initiatives across AU/NZ. You will partner with business leaders to deliver data-driven people strategies, manage risk, and drive change across the region.

You will work with the Head of HR to execute the Market HR Plan, ensuring compliance with local employment law and programs like onboarding, return-to-work, and labor relations management. This is a fixed-term contract role.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR, labor relations, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of HR BP or HR Generalist experience.

Responsabilidades

• Work with relevant teams to ensure end-to-end delivery for HR processes in country.
• Contribute to the deployment of country-focused HR programs and initiatives aligned to the country People plan (e.g., onboarding, RTW, etc.).
• Manage local employment policies and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., LSL).
• Work with the HR compliance team, process ownership team, user support team, and the relevant COE teams on prioritizing and mitigating market-related risks.
• Drive recommendations and prioritization to ensure end-to-end delivery of our Googler experience in the country.

• Experience leading businesses and HR strategies across both Australia and New Zealand.
• Demonstrated experience with cross-functional collaboration and drive decisions with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Broad range of HR knowledge, with experience with consultation processes and Labour Relations exposure to CoE disciplines and local employment law.
• Strong project management skills and delivery, able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.

Our Market Consultant role is known for deep subject matter expertise in HR programs, processes, and execution in their particular market. They work closely with the Head of HR, who sets the strategy via the Market HR Plan, to execute on and operationalize Google’s geographic priorities. Market consultants have sound knowledge of company and local programs, policies, and compliance procedures, and offer a compelling voice around HR matters internally and externally. They use their influencing skills to represent the needs of Google, facilitate partner discussions, and drive decisions that bring stakeholders along using change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the relevant teams to ensure end-to-end delivery for our HR processes in country, in particular with a focus on minimizing HR compliance risks and managing labor relations risks and related work.
• Contribute to the deployment of high-priority country-focused HR programs and initiatives aligned to the country People plan (e.g., flexible work, psychosocial frameworks, new entity setup, onboarding, RTW providers).
• Manage local employment policies and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., LSL).
• Work with the HR compliance team, process ownership team, user support team, and the relevant COE teams on prioritizing and mitigating market-related risks.
• Drive recommendations and prioritization to ensure work is in service of the end-to-end delivery of our Googler experience in the country.
