Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a trades-coordination specialist to work on Navy assets in Western Australia. You will coordinate multiple trade disciplines on site and contribute to long-term sustainment and asset management for the Royal Australian Navy.

The role offers permanent and fixed-term positions based at Henderson or Garden Island WA, with clear career pathways and potential permanency. A strong trades background and Defence experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance
• Relevant Trade / Maintenance background
• Ability to coordinate trades work on site
• Experience or passion for Marine/Defence industry (preferred)
• White Card (Construction Induction) or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trade contractors across Navy assets in a high production/maintenance environment
• Support the Royal Australian Navy's maritime capability
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively
• Deliver practical business solutions on site
• Contribute to asset management and sustainment programs
