Job summary

KBR is seeking a Team Lead Maritime / Principal Maritime Engineer in Perth, WA to help establish and grow our maritime presence in Western Australia. You will work with a national maritime team on ports, harbours, coastal and defence infrastructure projects, delivering technical leadership and client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant maritime and coastal engineering experience.
• Experience designing, assessing and delivering ports, harbours and marine infrastructure.
• Strong consulting or project delivery experience.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers.
• Eligible to work on Australian Defence-related projects; citizenship and security clearances are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across maritime and coastal projects.
• Deliver major projects in the national maritime portfolio.
• Lead or support multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to bids and strategic pursuits.
• Mentor and develop engineers in the maritime community.
• Collaborate with the National Maritime leadership team to support growth.
• Deliver studies, designs, technical reports, specifications and documentation.
• Promote quality, safety and engineering excellence across project delivery.
