Job summary
Aurecon is seeking a Lead Maritime Structures Designer based in Australia. You will provide technical leadership across the delivery of complex maritime and coastal infrastructure projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and practical solutions for ports, harbours, jetties and marine terminals.
You will lead BIM and digital engineering delivery using Revit and related platforms, ensuring high-quality design documentation and model development.
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering, design or drafting qualifications.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for intelligent structural models and project documentation.
- Experience delivering maritime infrastructure structures in marine/industrial settings.
- Experience with upgrades, modifications and rehabilitation in port/industrial environments.
- Strong BIM practices and data‑driven delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex maritime and coastal infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, practical, and constructible solutions.
- Deliver BIM modelling, documentation, and design verification to meet client requirements and standards.
- Mentor and support designers and modellers across local and global teams.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams for successful delivery.
