Job summary

Serco is seeking a Quality and Compliance Co-ordinator to support the Defence Marine Support Services contract at HMAS Kuttabul, Sydney. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations compliant, well governed and continuously improving.

You’ll work with Contract Manager, WHS, Operations and Engineering teams, leading quality and compliance activities, analysing information, coordinating audits and turning complex requirements into clear reports that drive strong HSEQ outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting HSEQ, quality, safety, environmental or compliance in maritime/defence or high-risk environments.
• Ability to interpret legislative, contractual and ISO requirements and communicate them clearly.
• Experience coordinating audits and assurance activities with strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality and compliance requirements across maritime, ISO, contractual and legislative frameworks.
• Develop and maintain quality, safety and environmental management plans and controlled documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, assurance activities and compliance reviews.
• Monitor HSEQ performance data, KPIs, risks and corrective actions, and prepare clear reports.
• Support risk management, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Advise managers on compliance requirements and opportunities to strengthen quality and safety.
