Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong communicator in written and verbal English.
  • PC literate to an intermediate level or better.
  • Electrical & Electronic experience to a certificate level.
  • Diagnostics experience, and manually dexterous.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Marine electronic and thermal camera maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of Ethernet, NMEA 2000/NMEA 0183.
  • Trade or tertiary qualifications in a related field highly regarded.
  • A driving license and a second language would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standard per procedures.
  • Undertake priority repairs as directed by the Customer Service manager.
  • Notify the Service Manager/PLG of defects not previously seen or monitored.
  • Keep up to date on all products to provide an effective knowledge base for repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient workshop and report health hazards.
  • Conduct off-site repairs with integrity and professionalism as a company representative.
  • Other duties as assigned.
