Job summary

Delaware North Australia & New Zealand's Lizard Island Resort is seeking an Assistant Manager Marine and Activities to lead and coordinate land and water programs, ensuring safe, engaging experiences for guests.

You will plan marine and land activities, supervise a team, uphold safety standards, assist with budgets and marketing, and work in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment on the Great Barrier Reef.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, marine science or related field.
• Experience in a hospitality or tourism setting with activities.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop marine and land activities (snorkeling, scuba, boating, tours, cultural experiences).
• Ensure safety and well-being of guests and team; maintain equipment and facilities.
