Job summary

The 24‑month traineeship leads to a nationally recognised Certificate III in Process Manufacturing and enables you to learn on the job while building practical technical and workplace skills.

Qualifications

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to read and use micrometers and verniers.
  • Ability to distinguish colours.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery to manufacture products in line with specifications, quality standards and production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot issues and adjust machine settings as required.
  • Conduct quality checks and complete relevant production reports.
  • Package and label products.
  • Prepare and load customer orders for dispatch.
  • Maintain stockpiles in a clean and organised condition.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to achieve production targets.
  • Notify QA of rejected or damaged stock and complete the required documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment across the plant.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including day, afternoon and night shifts.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Current NSW driver’s licence and reliable own transport.
