Job summary

Neumann Steel Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on manufacturing operator to join the Caloundra team. You will operate machinery, manufacture goods, prepare and load orders, and ensure loads are inspected and properly tagged.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and capable of operating machinery.
• Genuine interest in machinery and production processes.
• Committed to following safety procedures at all times.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Hold a current forklift licence (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and load sales orders in line with daily plans, prioritising safety and quality.
• Manufacture goods using our Service Centre machinery and tooling.
• Assist with various tasks based on business needs and your skill set.
• Unload goods and materials safely, ensuring receipt documentation is accurate.
• Operate machinery, equipment, and plant safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure produced goods meet specified standards.
• Pick and pack orders according to requirements and procedural guidelines.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before use.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the workspace.
• Communicate effectively with team members to promote a productive, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Load vehicles safely, adhering to Loading Guidelines and Chain of Responsibility legislation.
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and promptly.
