Job summary

Capral Aluminium in Campbellfield, VIC, is seeking Manufacturing Machine Operators for full-time, rotating-shift roles in our extrusion facility. You will safely operate equipment, follow work instructions, and help maintain delivery targets while upholding quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a practical safety mindset, can work autonomously across shifts, and contribute to a team. Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing is required; onsite parking is available, and Capral

• Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E)

• Location: Campbellfield, VIC
• Full-Time Role – Rotating Shift Work

Rotating Shifts:

• Day: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Afternoon: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Night: 10:00pm - 6:00am

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely performing manufacturing functions within our extrusion facility, ensuring that quality control measures are met consistently.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate equipment and perform tasks in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures
• Ensure product quality and packaging standards are maintained and comply with delivery targets
• Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member

ESSENTIAL

• Understanding of basic safety principles
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain a high level of activity across all shifts
• Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment
• Basic understanding of quality principles

DESIRABLE

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with automated machinery
• Ability to identify problems and resolve or contribute to resolution thereof
• Forklift licence
• Experience and knowledge of material handling
• Basic computer literacy skills
