Job summary

Cheetham Salt Limited in Bajool (Central Queensland) is seeking a permanent Manufacturing Operator to join our team. No prior industrial manufacturing experience is required; we will fully train you on procedures, equipment and systems, including helping you obtain a forklift licence.

You will help maintain a safe, clean work environment and contribute to safety, quality and productivity. The role involves operating plant equipment to produce bulk and bagged products and performing warehouse

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to Safety and Quality standards.
• Able to work autonomously and within a proactive team environment.
• Capacity to undertake physically repetitive and manual handling work.
• Available to work a rotating day/night roster.
• Forklift licence is highly regarded.
• Current driver’s licence and own transport are required (no public transport).
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• reside within 1 hour commute distance from site.
• Pass a pre-employment medical and background checks including police check.

The Role

• Operating equipment to produce bulk and bagged products
• Warehouse duties including operation of the pallet wrapper

About You

If you just graduated school, or are looking for a new career, this job is for you! We don’t require any prior Industrial Manufacturing experience and will fully train you on procedures, equipment and systems - including helping you obtain a forklift licence.

• Strong commitment to Safety and Quality standards
• Able to work both autonomously and within a proactive team environment

• Valid forklift licence is highly regarded
• A current driver’s licence and have own transport to get to work as there is no public transport
