Job summary

Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Co-Educator to provide floating coverage at the Malvern Campus for a 12-month fixed term, three days per week from 11am to 2:15pm. The role involves moving between groups, lunch-cover duties, and supporting children with diverse needs.

You will work under the ELC teacher, contribute to developmental records, and help create an engaging learning environment, while modelling the school values of excellence and care.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood and Care.
• Proficiency in Mandarin.
• Experience with three, four and five year olds is essential.
• Current First Aid Level 2, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of teaching activities and strategies based on knowledge of student’s physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.
• Actively contribute ideas resulting in implementation of a stimulating educational program for students that reflect current research and best practice models in early childhood.
• Support the ELC teacher in all aspects of the management of student behaviour, and organisation of the centre.
• Contribute to the developmental records for each individual student, both written and verbal, under the guidance of the teacher.
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviour.
