Job summary

Emerald Clinical Trials is seeking an experienced Early Phase Project Manager to lead end-to-end project management for Phase I–IV studies. You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets, ensure GCP compliance, and foster client relationships across Asia-Pacific and beyond.

The role requires 7+ years in clinical projects with 1–2 years in project management, and Mandarin proficiency is mandatory. Prior CRA or site-management experience is valued; familiarity with early-phase trials is a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in a science or related field.
• Previous experience working on clinical projects within an academic, CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
• 7+ years of industry experience with 1–2 years of PM experience.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Experience managing early-phase and healthy volunteer studies is a plus, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate delivery across study phases.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting and invoicing in alignment with sponsor requirements.
• Ensure studies adhere to ICH-GCP, SOPs and regulatory requirements; provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Coordinate study start-up activities including feasibility, site setup and ethics submissions.
• Oversee study implementation, monitoring, data management, reporting and close-out activities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and drive project finance management and performance.
