Job summary

CROSS Asia Pacific is seeking a CPA-qualified professional to lead a client portfolio from our established Rockhampton firm. This role offers a clear pathway to practice management and, for the right candidate, future equity participation.

You will own client portfolios, mentor the team, oversee budgets and reporting, and drive technical excellence while ensuring Australian accounting standards and tax compliance. Relocation not needed; on-site in Rockhampton, QLD.

Qualifications

Requirements

What our client is looking for:

• In-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance requirements.
• Xero experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Proven management and leadership experience in professional practice.
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to devise solutions for clients.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and committed to professional growth.
• Ambition to step into a broader practice management role and build a long-term career.
