Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience

Responsibilities

• Provision of high-quality business advice to clients including system/process improvements
• Establishing and maintaining positive client relationships, including attendance at client meetings
• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies
• Tax Return/BAS/IAS preparation and lodgment
• Assisting audits of large and small companies/entities
• The opportunity exists to grow into this role

THE ROLE:

We are seeking an Accountant to assist the Principal with top to bottom client related matters.

• Professional accounting experience
• Hold a tertiary qualification in an accounting related discipline or be working toward this qualification.
• Membership of, or currently working towards, CPA/CA would be advantageous.
• Audit exposure is a benefit

The successful applicant will also need to be a highly motivated individual, capable of working autonomously, have great interpersonal skills and a solution focused attitude.

• Solid work ethic
• Strong skills using Xero - financial statement preparation & accounting services
• Excel experience highly regarded
• You will be tech savi across a number of platforms including Office & Office 365
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

REMUNERATION:

An attractive remuneration package is available, to be determined in accordance with experience and qualifications.
