Job description

Manager – Valuations

Location: Sydney | Leading Advisory Firm

A leading mid-tier advisory platform is expanding its Valuations team in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious Manager to take on a role with real ownership, visibility, and progression. With strong national deal flow, a global network, and an agile culture, this role offers the chance to lead complex valuations engagements while building your leadership profile and career trajectory.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver valuations across transactions, financial reporting, tax, and strategic advisory contexts.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to private equity, corporates, founders, and CFOs on value drivers and deal mechanics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, and Restructuring to provide integrated insights.
  • Manage, coach, and inspire a team of analysts and consultants.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches, and leveraging an established referral network.

Why You? Why Now?

  • You might be producing technically strong outcomes, but without a clear say in strategy. Or perhaps you are leading projects but lack visibility and career momentum.
  • This is your chance to step into a senior seat where your leadership counts, your progression is structured, and your impact is visible.

What Sets This Apart

  • Active pipeline: A steady flow of mandates across infrastructure, healthcare, technology, and industrials.
  • Mid-tier advantage: The agility and autonomy to make an impact, with the support of a global brand.
  • Clear progression: Structured pathway toward Senior Manager, Director, and Partner.
  • Performance culture: Clarity, accountability, and shared wins in a collaborative environment.

What You Bring

  • 6+ years in Valuations, Corporate Finance, or Deal Advisory, ideally from a Big 4 or leading mid-tier firm.
  • Strong technical expertise across DCF, market multiples, and precedent transaction methodologies.
  • Confidence advising senior stakeholders in high-stakes contexts.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

If you are ready to take control of your next chapter, this is one of the most compelling opportunities in Sydney’s market right now.

All enquiries held in strict confidence.
