The Opportunity - Transaction Services Manager

Looking for that next-step up in your Corporate Finance career? Maven Partners have been enlisted by one of the emergent firms in the Corporate Finance space to recruit for a number of Transaction Services Managers to join the companies growing Melbourne office.

On offer, is the opportunity to work with a leading global brand, on some of the largest deals taking place in the market. Not only does this role offer the opportunity to work at a high-level, but it also offers the chance to work with an exciting new outfit in the Australian deals market.

Responsibilities

• Managing and participating in transaction engagements related to acquisitions by strategic corporate buyers and private equity investor groups.
• Providing a high quality of work to the companies' corporate financial due diligence clients
• Analysing financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients; building trust between your team and the businesses the company is engaging with
• Identifying the key value drivers for all clients such as financial, commercial and operational insights to help build confidence for clients to help them reach their objectives
• Correlate due diligence findings with client valuations
• Assisting Directors and Partners on proposals and new business opportunities
• Aiding the firm's clients in key business decisions by offering valuable commercial insight and technical expertise, on the foundations of strong analysis of areas such as current and future market conditions
• To lead a team of Senior Associate's and Trainees on high-level engagements; including their mentoring, training and delegation

Requirements

• At least three years' experience in a transaction services or M&A role, with some experience in a Management capacity
• Experience in building strong internal and external relationships
• The ability to achieve a high-level of work, maintaining accuracy during busy periods
• A strong educational background, preferably with a completed CA, CFA (or equivalent)
