We’re partnering with a well-regarded mid-tier accounting and advisory firm in Melbourne to find their next Corporate Finance Manager, a pivotal hire in their close-knit and high-performing team.

This isn’t just another role. It’s an opportunity to become a central figure in a growing corporate finance division, work alongside respected leaders, and lead deals end to end.

About the Role:

You'll work closely with the Corporate Finance Partner and play a central role in delivering sell-side M&A mandates, managing deal processes, and building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Yes, there’s business development, but it’s relationship-focused. Whether it’s tapping into legal networks, industry contacts or word-of-mouth referrals, your presence, confidence and credibility will go a long way.

It’s a hands-on role. You’ll be in the detail, but you’ll also step back and strategise, bring clients along the journey, and support junior staff as the team grows.

Experience:

Proven M&A experience, especially sell-side transactions from preparation to completion
Someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in. A doer who’s also a strong communicator
A natural leader with presence, commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset
Experience from a similar environment - mid-tier firm, boutique advisory, corporate advisory, investment bank or business broker etc.
Strong cultural fit is key. Integrity, drive and the ability to build trust
Open to those relocating interstate if Melbourne is on your radar
