Job summary

Alinytjara Wilurara Landscape Board is seeking a Manager, Strategy and Sustainable Landscapes to lead a team in strategic and operational planning and delivery. You will drive policy development for sustainable landscape management and secure funding for key projects.

You will manage stakeholder relationships, oversee contractors, and provide support services including western science advice and information management to deliver outcomes. Flexible working options may be discussed.

Qualifications

• An appropriate degree in science, environmental management, agriculture, or natural resource management or a related discipline is essential.
• A tertiary qualification in leadership, business management or Public Sector Management is desirable.

About the Role:
The Manager, Strategy and Sustainable Landscapes leads a team to provide high quality and effective strategic and operational program planning and delivery. The Manager, Strategy and Sustainable Landscapes is responsible for leading the development of sustainable landscape management policies, providing advice, sourcing and securing funding, leading the delivery of key projects, managing stakeholder relationships, managing contractors and providing support services such as western science advice and information management.

Remuneration:
ASO8 $130,046 - $134,956 pa

Contract Type:
Short term contract until July 2027

Essential Qualifications:
An appropriate degree in science, environmental management, agriculture, or natural resource management or a related discipline is essential.

A tertiary qualification in leadership, business management or Public Sector Management is desirable.
