Job summary

Alinytjara Wilurara Landscape Board is seeking a Manager, Strategy and Sustainable Landscapes to lead a team in strategic and operational planning and delivery. You will drive policy development for sustainable landscape management and secure funding for key projects.

You will manage stakeholder relationships, oversee contractors, and provide support services including western science advice and information management to deliver outcomes. Flexible working options may be discussed.

Qualifications

• An appropriate degree in science, environmental management, agriculture, or natural resource management or a related discipline is essential.
• A tertiary qualification in leadership, business management or Public Sector Management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to provide strategic and operational program planning and delivery.
• Develop sustainable landscape management policies and advise on their implementation.
• Source and secure funding for key projects.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and contractors involved in programs.
• Provide support services such as western science advice and information management.
