Job summary

The Andersen Partnership in Sydney seeks a Manager/Senior Manager to partner with a senior Partner on UHNW client portfolios. You will lead complex tax advisory, structuring and estate planning work, while building direct client relationships and gradually taking on more ownership in a collaborative, flat firm culture.

This role offers a clear succession route toward partnership, with two work-from-home days per week and flexible start times to suit personal schedules.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification with strong grounding in private client or UHNW tax.
• Experience managing complex client relationships and delivering advisory work.
• Interest in a long-term path toward partnership.
• Comfort working directly with clients and a Partner on sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Partner across a portfolio of UHNW clients.
• Lead complex tax advisory, structuring and estate planning work.
• Build direct client relationships with view to independence over time.
• Review and develop Seniors and Intermediates.
• Take on progressively greater portfolio responsibility as succession progresses.

The Opportunity

A senior Partner is planning their succession over the coming years. This role is the entry point into that pathway: a Manager or Senior Manager who works directly alongside the Partner on their portfolio, builds deep client relationships, and progressively takes on greater ownership, with a genuine, structured route toward stepping into the Partner's shoes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working closely with the Partner across a portfolio of UHNW clients
• Leading complex tax advisory, structuring and estate planning work
• Building direct client relationships, with a view to holding them independently over time
• Reviewing and developing Seniors and Intermediates
• Taking on progressively greater portfolio responsibility as the succession plan advances
