Rabobank Australia and New Zealand's Integrated Risk team seeks a Manager, Risk Reporting and Insights to own end-to-end risk reporting for governance bodies. The role combines hands-on analysis with strategic oversight, partnering with risk and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights.

You'll champion Power BI reporting, drive efficiency, and uphold our risk management framework while supporting Board and Risk Committee decisions in a hybrid Australia-wide environment.

• Experience in risk reporting for governance audiences, preferably in banking or financial services.

About the role

The Manager, Risk Reporting and Insights is responsible for meeting the risk reporting and insights needs Rabobank Australia and New Zealand (RANZ). The role takes ownership of defined risk reporting deliverables and leads their end-to-end coordination, working with contributors across the Risk function and broader business to deliver high-quality reporting for the Risk Leadership Team, Risk Management Committee and Boards.

The role remains hands‑on in the preparation of reporting and analysis, supporting effective risk oversight and decision‑making.

The role sits within the Integrated Risk team in the CRO Domain and contributes to the effective management and oversight of risk across RANZ. Working collaboratively across the Risk function and broader business, the role supports the ongoing uplift of risk reporting, insights and ways of working in support of RANZ's Risk Management Framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality enterprise-wide risk reporting tailored to regional and entity-level requirements for Committees, senior management and Boards.
• Own allocated risk reporting deliverables end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, consistency, quality and timely delivery.
• Synthesise complex risk information, data and stakeholder contributions, applying judgement to identify key themes, trends and emerging issues and translate these into clear, decision-useful insights.
• Conduct portfolio analysis, segmentation and sector-specific deep dives to generate meaningful insights and support senior management and committee discussions.
• Review and challenge stakeholder submissions and facilitate senior stakeholder review, coordinating feedback, resolving issues and escalating material matters where appropriate.
• Develop, enhance and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, applying appropriate data visualisation and data modelling to strengthen risk reporting and insight generation.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and simplification of reporting processes, including the responsible use of approved AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency, quality and scalability.
• Act as a subject matter expert on risk reporting, providing advice and guidance on reporting standards, content and presentation.

To be successful in the role

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience, with demonstrated experience in risk, portfolio or management reporting for senior governance audiences, ideally within banking or financial services.
• You will be an accomplished reporting professional with strong written communication, stakeholder management and analytical judgement , and the ability to translate complex risk information into decision-useful reporting.
• You will be comfortable managing complex, recurring reporting deliverables involving multiple contributors and fixed deadlines, with strong organisation and attention to detail.
• You will have the judgement to identify material issues and insights , bringing together information from multiple sources where required to support senior management, Risk Committees and Boards.
• You will be confident working with senior stakeholders, with the ability to constructively challenge and refine contributions , facilitate review discussions and drive issues through to resolution.
• You will bring a continuous improvement mindset, with practical capability in Power BI, data visualisation and automation, and the ability to use approved AI-enabled tools appropriately.
