Rabobank is seeking a Business Support Manager in Risk Management to drive high-quality reporting and governance support across Australia. You will work with senior stakeholders to provide assurance, insights and early risk warning while enabling strategic initiatives and regulatory priorities.

We value extensive experience in risk, governance or executive support, strong analytics, and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in financial services or banking, supporting risk or governance.
• Experience preparing executive-level reporting, presentations and Board papers.
• Understanding of risk governance frameworks and regulatory environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Proficiency with Excel and BI tools to turn data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Support the CRO and RBM in delivering the Risk Management Strategy across Australia.
• Coordinate Board papers, executive presentations and governance materials.
• Track and report on strategic actions, risk initiatives and leadership priorities.
• Provide analysis on Risk Division performance, trends and issues.
• Develop KPI and KRI reporting and management information.
• Support governance and control activities, including risk assessments.

Business Support Manager, Risk Management

As Business Manager, Risk Management, you will play a key role in supporting the effective operation of the Risk Division by delivering high-quality reporting, analysis, governance coordination and business management support. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide assurance, insights and early warning on key risk matters, while helping drive the execution of strategic initiatives and regulatory priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the CRO and RBM in delivering the Risk Management Strategy across Australia
• Coordinating the preparation of Board papers, executive presentations and key governance materials
• Tracking and reporting on strategic actions, risk initiatives and leadership priorities
• Providing insightful analysis on Risk Division performance, trends and emerging issues
• Assisting in the development of KPI and KRI reporting and management information
• Supporting risk governance and control activities, including operational risk assessments, reporting and remediation tracking
• Coordinating approvals and ensuring decisions progress through appropriate governance channels
• Managing staff engagement initiatives and supporting continuous improvement activities
• Building strong relationships across Risk, business divisions and key stakeholders locally and globally

About you

• 5-7 years' experience within financial services or banking, ideally supporting Risk, Governance or Executive functions
• Exposure to risk disciplines such as Credit, Operational or Market Risk
• Strong understanding of risk governance frameworks and regulatory environments
• Experience preparing executive-level reporting, presentations and Board papers
• Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to turn data into meaningful insights
• Experience using Archer, Excel and Power BI
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
