Thales Group is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to focus on schedule planning, monitoring, and control for assigned projects at Garden Island. The role emphasizes Earned Value Management (EVM) to track performance against the PMB and requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and schedule integrity.

You will use Primavera and Microsoft Project to build and maintain schedules, perform variance analyses, and support EVM deliverables.

Qualifications

• TAFE/tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a project scheduling or EVM.
• Proficient in Primavera or Microsoft Project; experience with scheduling tools.
• Strong knowledge of PERT and CPM scheduling methods.
• Experience with financial and budgetary controls on projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera and Microsoft Project.
• Collaborate to create an accurate PMB (Performance Measurement Baseline).
• Perform variance analysis and report on schedule progress against the PMB.
• Support EVM reporting and deliverables.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and ensure schedule health using DCMA 14-point checks and Acumen Fuse.
• Facilitate Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and other project review processes.
• Provide coaching to junior team members.
• Ensure adherence to project management processes; assist in finance-related analysis when required.
