Job summary

Austal, based in Cairns, is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and maintain project schedules supporting sustainment contracts. The role focuses on delivering accurate baselines and coordinating across teams to ensure on-time, cost-effective execution.

You will use Primavera P6, apply EVM concepts, forecast costs, and contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling processes. Australian citizenship for clearance is required and defence/government project experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of scheduling experience.
• Primavera P6 proficiency (2+ years).
• Understanding of EVM, forecasting, and cost estimation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Defence, Government, or commercial project experience (desirable).

• AIPM certification (CPPM or higher) (desirable)
• Shipbuilding/Defence background (desirable)
