Job description

About Us

CBH is a leader in the Australian grain industry and the country’s largest co-operative. Our work has meaning and is creating an exciting future - we’re delivering WA’s grain to the world. Our advanced logistics network stretches across the State, connecting the growers of WA with our customers, and providing opportunities for career growth in different roles and locations.

Ready to make an impact on a global scale with a local company? We are CBH. We are what you’re looking for.

The Role

Bring your project delivery expertise and leadership to one of our significant infrastructure projects. Delivering safety, with quality stakeholder engagement and productivity on this project will drive substantial value for WA grain growers.

Working with a dedicated project team and a broad range of stakeholders, you will lead the delivery of complex remediation and asset improvement works within an operational port environment. You will foster strong relationships, drive contractor performance, manage project risks and support the safe, efficient delivery of works through to successful completion and handover.

Responsibilities include:
  • Partner with operational, engineering, and commercial stakeholders to develop delivery strategies, manage project scopes, and optimise project outcomes.
  • Drive contractor performance, productivity, safety and quality outcomes through effective contract administration, field leadership and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with consultants, contractors and suppliers aligned with CBH’s values and safety expectations.
  • Maintain robust project controls, including costs, schedules, risks, change management and governance reporting while identifying opportunities to improve across the broader portfolio.
  • Lead the development and delivery of capital and asset-related projects from early concept through to commissioning and operational handover.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, construction management or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering large-scale infrastructure, remediation, maintenance or brownfields capital projects or studies within an owner’s team, EPCM or large contractor environment.
  • Strong commercial and project controls capability, including planning, scheduling, forecasting, cost management, risk management, contracts and procurement.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance across contractors, consultants and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering structural, mechanical and/or electrical work scopes within operational facilities, with a strong focus on safety, risk management, driving productivity and quality outcomes
